Home button bug

After updating my iPhone 6 to the latest iOS, the home button went super hot and stayed like that all the time, the finger print Touch ID seemed off as well. I replaced it with ifixit part, following their online tutorial… and I realized you can’t update your phone when you don’t have the original home button 🙁 Dunno what went wrong as I double checked all the steps but I eventually went to the local shop here in Zürich.
