Mapping Spaces for Making workshop

Our friends at the Swiss Institute of Technology (EPFL) recently organized a workshop in Shanghai/Shenzhen about makerspaces. Their aim was to investigate how different spaces that have been instrumental in the unfolding of maker communities of these cities. The project weblog discusses their approach and the output they produced. Anaïs took part in this workshop and contributed with various observation/design/drawings/book design skills as well as anthro/design perspective.

This workshop was also important for our project because of the comparisons we can make between Swiss repair places (informal repair shops, repair cafés and hackerspaces).
