Book writing

It’s December 2018 and the project is coming to an end. Well, there’s still a lot of work to do in terms of writing and communication but the field research part is now over. We currently working with a graphica design, Raphaël Verona, on the final book. Anaïs is turning some of the observation we made into bande-dessinées, and I’m writing various texts about them. The idea is to have a series of 17 portraits/descriptions of the places we investigated. We’re almost there with this phase and the next one will consist in writing a (thick) discussion section about the implications of our findings; mostly about our three main hypotheses in the project.

This phase requires a lot of inspiration from various works, and George Perec’s Cahier des charges pour “La vie mode d’emploi” is of great help here.
